Subparagraph <br /> 130.0110. ~ntitled Fees Pertaining To Bowling Alle_vs: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman requested that the City Attorney research which cities do and <br />which cities do r~t include a per lane fee for bowling alley licenses. <br /> <br />Council noted the introduction of proposed Ordinance t85-7. <br /> <br />Adoption Of Ordinance %85-4 Entitled A Fumd For The Pu _rpose Of Mitigating <br />And _Compensating For The iocal Risk. Costs And Other ~dverse Effects To <br /> <br />Council noted the introduction of proposed Ordinance $85-4. <br /> <br />A. ~aqdfill's Affect O~ Residential Market Values: <br /> <br />Motion by Counci~r Cox and seconded by Mayor Hei~man directing City Staff <br />to prepare specifications and advertise for bids for an extensive market study <br />to be done on the landfill's afect on residential land values. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember COx noted that by the time this market study <br />is oompleted the Landfill C(mmtittee tenure period will have expired. Mr. Steve <br />DeLuca, a member of the Landfill Ad Hoc CommitS, stated that one of the main <br />thrusts of the Landfill (kmm~ttee is to propose legislation and this Landfill <br />(kxm~t~ was formed too late in the year to get much accomplished in the 1985 <br />legislative session; if the (bmmittee is extended, proposed legislation could <br />be Go,piled for the 1986 legislative session. Gounc~r Gox stated that he <br />would like to see the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee ext~ for another 6 months <br />only; at that time the (kx~mittee should be terminated as he doesn't like to see <br />o(mt~ittees exist just to create more work for City Staff. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor ~eitman, Councilm;m%bers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber COx and seconded by Councilmspi~r Reimann to extend the <br />period of tenure for the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee until January 31, 1986. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Gounc~rs Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />B.
