Festival (bmmittee that City Gouncil did take inappropriate action. <br />Gouncilmember Sorteberg stated that he see's no reason for Gouncil to ~hange <br />it's actions based on one person's comments. Ms. Lo~]~ stated that Council <br />took action on June 25 based on one person's recommendation -- that of <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Gouncilm~nbers Sorteberg and <br />Schlueter. Voting No: Councilm~mber Reimann. Abstain: Council~nber Cox. <br /> <br />Gouncilmember (Dx pointed out that the Park Commission did make a <br />reoo~nendation on April 18 directing that the funds raised be placed in the <br />Park General Fund and that motion did carry. <br /> <br />Tax Increment Financing: <br /> <br />(buncil unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. <br /> <br />Gouncil reviewed the Tax Increment Development Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by (buncilm~mber (]ox to table action until the n~xt Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Oouncilmenber (bx to adopt Resolution %85- establishing a Tax <br />Increment Financing Development Progra~ in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Gouncilme~ber (bx and seconded by Mayor Heitman to table any further <br />action on the Tax Increment Development Progra~ until (buncil's meeting <br />scheduled for July 23, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, (buncilmenkers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Senator Boschwitz will have a representative present at <br />City Hall on Friday, July 19 to hear issues and concerns. <br /> <br />Mr. Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet Street - Stated that he would like to <br />apologize to (buncil and Counc~r (bx for his earlier remarks regarding <br />'Gouncil~mber (Dx can go suck his own eggs'. Mr. Fountain stated that he hoped <br />Council and Counc~r (Dx would acoept the apoloqf with the sincerity in <br />which it was offered. <br /> <br />Discussion Of R ~eguest For Liquor License Renewal: Case, O~ J.R,'~ <br /> Saloon, Mr. James R. Gilbertson-. <br /> <br />Mr. Sid Brennan, attorney for Mr. J. R.
