Msmbers of this Suboc~mit~ may have oo~ments regarding this pro- ject. Also, Jack Ippel, Chair of the Airport Commission, will be at the meeting to provide further discussion on this matter. DISCUSSION REGARD~ ~LTEK'$ ~T.T.~G_.__~/~ VIO~ATI(INS OF HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL R~GULATIONS AS you know, Waltek was issued a notice of violation of certain regulations regarding the disposal of hazardous wastes. At the August 14, 1985 meeting, the (k~mission authorized Commissior~embers Wagner, Fults and Vevea to meet with representatives regarding this matter. ~hese Commissior~epbers will report on this meeting. In addition, Lloyd Schnelle, Natalie Haas, Bob Hutchinson, and Ray Burton of Waltek met with Mr. Ainar Sills the MPCA to discuss this problem. of The City (buncil, at its August 27, 1985 meeting, dis- cussed this matter and referred the problem of keeping businesses up to date on MP(~ la~s regarding hazardous waste prooesses, violations, and penalties to the EDC for research. M~mo from City Administrator to Mayor and City Council regarding meeting at MPCA on August 26, 1985 c. Minutes of August 27, 1985 City Council meeting UPDATE ON TOUR OF LOCAL BUSINES~ At the July 10, 1985 __c~,,m__ ission meeting, you referred the organization of a tour of local businesses for sometime in September to a oommittee consisting of Oarmissior~embers Muller, Ve~ea and Miller. ~his committee will report on its activities at the meeting.
