I

I
!
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
i
I
l
I
I
I
I

Mr. Arnie Cox - Stated that he has received comments from persons in
Precinct 3 regarding the unsuitability of the St. Anthony Gun Club as a
polling location - it is not large enough to accommodate person waiting
in line which presents a problem should there be bad weather on an election
day. Council should address this problem before next election.

Mr. Arnie Cox - Concerned with Planning and Zoning's recodification of
ordinances, particular that regarding fencing. 7~ere is an existing fence
on Sunfish Blvd. between two residences that has barbed wire strung across
the top; barbed wire should not be allowed between residences, even if
those residences are in a commercial area.

Mr. Arnie Cox - River's Bend Park develoDment thus far has been through
donated equipment and labor; feel those 20 persons involved should be
invited to the City Christmas party if there is to be one.

Mr. Arnie Cox - Regarding sliding hill at the Landfill, have been informed
by Terry Miller that lime sludge has been placed across the east and north
corner of the property and provisions for permanent access are being made.
~hat area will not be available for sliding this year, but Waste Management
is agreeable to that property being used by the City for sliding in the
future; Ramsey should encourage the County to cooperate with Waste
Management to make that particular area City jurisdiction as a sliding
hill.

Mayor Gamec stated that it seems as though Mr. Cox already has some
projects lined up for when he takes office in January. Mayor Gamec also
pointed out that City policy is to invite City Staff and Commission members
only to the Christmas party; if the City would invite all persons
contributing to the City we would have to include Lions, Jaycee's, Scouts,
etc.

Mr. COx stated that he hopes the City has notbeen waiting for two years
for him to get back on Council and address some of these issues; some of
the above mentioned items deserve i~a~ediate attention. Negotiations should
begin soon regarding the sliding hill at the Landfill and Planning and
Zoning is in the process of reviewing ordinances now.

FJBLIC HEARINGS

The regular meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. to conduct the following public
hearings and Board of Adjustment:

1) Board of Adjustment public hearing regarding Mr. Michael Schafer's
variance request.

2) Board of Adjustment public hearing regarding Mr. Jack Engel's variance
request.

Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting back to order at 8:05 p.m.

City Assessor Wirz regarding Conm~rcial Property Valuation -
