Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the recommended appointments to the Airport <br />Commission to replace Con~issioners Morrow and Patz. Councilmember Reimann <br />stated that he feels these Con~nission members should be urged to continue to <br />serve on the Commission considering the Airport Master Study is almost <br />completed and time is drawing very near to when the Airport Commission will <br />make a recommendation to Council regarding the airport. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilm~r Van Wagner to <br />table accepting resignations and replacing of Commissioners Morrow and Patz <br />from the Airport Commission until after January 1, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 94: Proposed Food And Fuel At River's Bend Properties: <br /> <br />Mr. Rick Foster informed Council of plans to construct a Food and Fuel at Hwy. <br />47 and Industry Blvd. Mr. Foster stated that Food and Fuel would like to open <br />in May of 1985 and is planned for municipal sewer and water service; due to <br />logistical problems created in complying with the City Charter, sewer and <br />water will not be available to Food and Fuel until July of 1985. Mr. Foster <br />requested Council approval to install an on-site septic system and well until <br />utilities can be extended to Food and Fuel. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to allow installation of an on-site septic system and <br />well for Food and Fuel until utilities become available at that site. <br /> <br />Case 95: Legal (A. Proposed Mining Permit For Wast~ Management; <br /> B. Letter From Mr. William Erhart, Attorney A~ Law): <br /> <br />a) Proposed Mining Permit For Waste Management - <br /> <br />Mr. Don Otter, Mr. Edward Moersfelder and Mr. Terry Miller were present. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed his me~o of November 20, 1984 with Council. <br />~ememo states that after some research, it has been determined that Waste <br />Management's request for a mining permit can be treated as an application for <br />a Temporary Conditional Use Permit and Temporary Use Permits do not require <br />public hearings.
