Horses (mares, geldings, stallions, etc.) <br />b. Cattle (cows, steers, etc.) <br />c. Sheep <br />d. Ducks <br />e. Chickens <br />f. Geese <br />g. Rabbits <br />h. Pidgeons <br />i. Goats <br />j. Hogs <br />k. Bees <br />1. Turkeys <br /> <br />Commission consensus is to eliminate the distinction between farm and hobby <br />farm in the recodification based on the fact that the only difference is that <br />farm is a principle source of income. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich explained that the City's current ordinance on the "Keeping Of <br />Certain Animals" specifies that a property owner must own 3 contiguous acres <br />in order to keep oows, pigs and goats and the City has had only one problem <br />with this ordinance since 1978. The keeping of bees is addressed separately <br />in the ordinances and there has been no problem with that ordinance is the <br />last 15 years. <br /> <br />~hrough discussion it was decided to remain with the existing ordinance <br />entitled "Keeping Of Certain Animals" and to add sheep to the list of animals <br />specified.
