Discussion Of City Cemeteries - Councilmamber COx stated that he has been approached b/; certain residents who are ooncerned with the status of cemeteries in Ramsey. Council and Staff consensus is that the cemetery issue does need some research. Motion by councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann directing Councilmember COx to form and chair a C~netery Cxmmzittee. Further Discussion: Councilmember COx directed Council Secretary to see that the forming of the City Ommetery Ccmmdttee is advertised in the City Newsletter. Mayor Heitman amended the motion to include that the C~netery Committee should report back to Council within 6 months after formation. Councilmamber Sorteberg seconded the amendment to the motion. Amen~nent carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Charter Connission Recc~m~endations- Mayor Heitman stated that the Charter C(]mnission will not be su~anitting any reoommendations until after their pablicmeeting scheduled for April 25, 1985.
