Requ_ est For Metes And Bouads Subdivision~ Case Of Ms. IDrraine Stone: <br /> <br />Ms. Stone was present and stated that she is not totally prepared to address <br />this case as it was her understanding that the city would review the property <br />to determine whether or not the lot resulting from the subdivision would be <br />considered buil_rla_ble. Ms. Stone stated that her neice is a realtor and took <br />so~e elevations on the property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that he was also under the impression that the city <br />Building Inspector was going to review the property. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that the City does not make it a practice to do those kinds <br />of things. Mr. Schnelle also noted that the City does not allow metes and <br />bounds subdivisions unless there is a proven hardship. <br /> <br />Ms. Stone stated that she thought a lot was buildable if 25% of the plat was 6' <br />above the water level. <br /> <br />Mr. Baatikka stated that what Ms. Stone is referring is in regards to rural <br />areas based on 2-1/2 acre lot sizes; there are also setback and side yard <br />setbacks to be followed. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to table this case until MS. Stone can provide Council <br />with more information regarding the buildability of the lot resulting from the <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 10:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Heit~an called the Council meeting back to order at 10:20 p.m. <br /> <br />~ ~x Increment Financing: <br /> <br />Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember (]ox to adopt <br />Resolution {85-91 settin9 July 9, 1985 as the date for a public hearing on the <br />City's tax increment plan.
