I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY GOUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA GDUNTY <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was oonducted on Tuesday, July 23, <br />1985 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Gouncilm~nber Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilm~nber A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilm~nber Arnie COx <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Llcyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Director of Technical Services Clayton Berg <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka (arrived 10:20 p.m.) <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the regular Council meeting to order at 7:37 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />MAYOR' $ STATE OF THE CITY REPORT <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman stated that copies of his State of the City Report are available <br />for Council and pu~ ic information; the report will be i~,hlished in the next <br />issue of the Tri-City Newsletter. <br /> <br />Councilm~mber Reimann asked if the State of the City Report was prepared by <br />Mayor Heitman or City Administrator Schnelle. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman stated that the report was a joint effort. <br /> <br />CI~Z~INP~ <br /> <br />Susan Beale - 14851 Sunfish Lake Blvd. - Stated that at a June Council meeting <br />Councilman Cox stated that at a special meeting, which by resolution indicated <br />City approval for issuance of a gambling license, was attended by three <br />'accountable' councilpersons. Ms. Beale stated that a closer looks shc~s just <br />how accountable they are; the following occurrences are recent actions by all <br />or some of those 3 oouncilpersons: <br /> <br />1.
