~~~t~ A place where gasoline is stored only <br /> , kerosene or motor oil and lubricants <br />or grease, for operation of automobiles, are retailed <br />directly to the public on premises and including minor <br />accessories and services for automobiles but not including <br />auta~obile major repairs and rebuilding. <br /> <br />MOTOR FREIGHT TERMINAL (Truck Terminal): A building in <br />which freight brought by motor truck is assembled and sorted <br />for routing in intrastate and interstate shipment. <br /> <br />NAT~%L DRAINAGE SYSTEM: All land surface areas which by <br />nature of their contour configuration, collect, store and <br />channel surface water run-off. <br /> <br />NATURAL OBSTRUCTION: Means any rock, tree, gravel or <br />analogous natural matter that is an obstruction and has been <br />located within a waterbody, watercourse, or wetland by a non- <br /> <br />NO~-CONF(~]Ig~ S~UC~: A structure designed, converted <br />or adopted for a use prior to the adoption of provisions <br />prohibiting such use in such locations. <br /> <br />Nf~9-(I~IgM//~ USE: Any use or arrangements of land or <br />structures legally existing at the time of enactment of this <br />chapter,but r~t presently authorized prior to the <br />enactment cf this chapter. <br /> <br />~ORMAL HIGH WATER MARK: A continuous mark of reference at <br />an elevation where land and water meet for some period of <br />record; is c0~monly that point where the natural vegetation <br />changes from predominantly aquatic to predominantly <br />terrestrial. <br /> <br />NURSING HOME. REST HOME OR CONVALESCENT HOME: A building <br />having accommodations where care is provided for two (2) <br />or more invalids, infirmed, aged, convalescent, or physi- <br />cally disabled persons that are not of the immediate <br />family; but not including hospitals, clinics, sanitariums <br />or similar institutions. ~ <br /> <br />OFF-~ LOADING SPACE: A space accessible from the <br />street, alley or way, in a building or on the lot for the <br />use of trucks while loading or unloading merchandise or <br />materials. Such .space shall be of such size as to <br />acoom~x]ate one (1) truck of the type typically used in the <br />particular business and shall be exclusive of general public <br />and e, ployee parking spaces. <br /> <br />OPEN SALES LOT: Any open land used or occupied for the <br />purpose cf buying selling and/or renting merchandise and for <br />the storing of same prior to sale. <br /> <br />B-8 <br /> <br /> <br />
