DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Intent <br /> <br />The following words and terms, wherever they occur in <br />this chapter, shall be construed as herein defined. <br />Words not defined shall be interpreted in accordance <br />with definitions in any standard dictionary. <br /> <br />ABUTTING: Making contact with or separated only by public <br />thoroughfare, railroad, public utility right-of-way or <br />navigable waters. <br /> <br />ACCESSORY BUILDING: Any subordinate building located on <br />the same lot as the principal building and the use of which <br />is incidental to that of the principal building or use of <br />the premises. An attached garage less than 864 square feet <br />or a detached garage of less than 864 square feet shall not <br />be considered an accessory building. <br /> <br />ACCESSORY FARM BUILDING: An accessory building used to <br />shelter farm animals (excluding household pets) and/or farm <br /> <br />ACCESSORY USE: a use naturally and normally incidental <br />to, subordinate to, and auxiliary to the principal per- <br />mitted use of the premises <br /> <br />AD~: A physical enlargement of an existing <br />structure. <br /> <br />AGRIOOL~3RE USES: Those uses commonly associated with the <br />growing of produce on farms. These include: field crop <br />farming, pasture for hay, fruit growing, tree, plant, shrub <br />or flower nursery without building, truck gardening, <br />and livestock raising and feeding, but not including <br />fur farms, o0~ercial animal feed lots and kennels. <br /> <br />AT~.~y: A public right-of-way primarily designed to serve <br />as secondary access to the side or rear of those properties <br />whose principsl frontage is on a street. <br /> <br />A~IMAnS. ~OM~TIC FARM: ~orses, cattle, sheep, ducks, <br />chickens, geese, rabbits, pigeons, goats, hogs, bees, <br />turkeys. <br /> <br />ANIMALS. DOMESTIC PETS: <br />o0~monly known house pets. <br /> <br />Dogs, cats, birds and other <br /> <br />~ARTMf~: A room or suite of rooms which is designed <br />for, intended for, or occupied as a housekeeping unit and <br />is equipped with oooking facilities. <br /> <br />B-1 <br /> <br /> <br />
