Herbst & Sons Construction Co., Inc. dba Herbst Demoltion Land!ill <br /> <br />The closure/post closure plan submitted by Herbst & Sons <br />Construction Co., inc. for the Herbst Demolition Landfill dated <br />October a, 19g~ and received on November 2, 19g~ as amended by <br />the licensee's correspondence o! November 9, 195q be approved. <br /> <br />Approval of this plan, or waivers of any plan requirement, does not <br />in any way limit or reduce the licensee and owner's obligation or <br />responsibility to properly close the site and to maintain it in such a <br />manner that it does not degrade the soil, waters, or air o! Anoka <br />County or create a nuisance or endanger the public or to take <br />remedial action to correct such degradation. <br /> <br />The following waivers o! the ordinance requirements for this plan <br />be approved: <br /> <br />Post closure plan and financial assurance and requirements <br />because the nature of the fill does not require long-term <br />monitoring and care. <br />Notice to customers because it is not open to the public. <br />Posting of a sign because it is not open to the public. <br />Publication of a notice because it is not open to the public. <br />Reduction o! the middle horizon o! the final cover to six <br />inches because the turf root zone needs are not as critical for <br />demolition landfills. <br /> <br />Acceptance o! the operational/closure financial assurance bond in <br />the amount o! $90,000. <br /> <br />The license issued to Herbst & Sons Construction Co., Inc. for the <br />operation o! the Herbst Demolition Landfill be amended to: <br /> <br />Extend from 3anuary I - 3une 30, 1955. <br />Include as a condition of licensure the conditions set forth in <br />Exhibit 2. <br /> <br />C.
