Cc~.issioner ~---,er stated that Rt. Fountain is misinformed regarding the current lanclfill and his oonoeption of what is happening at the site i~ 1[~9 degrees out of lahase. Waste Ranagement ha~ a permit to place a certain a~D~t of cubic Fards of waste at the site and when that is acc~mpli~ed, the site will be closed. Dntil the site is full, it will not be closed. Doug Fountain stated that when he built in }ramsay in 1977, he was informed City Staff that the landfill site would be closed in 1979 or 1980 at the latest. At that time the site was to be developed inbo a park or ski hill this is documented in Council minutes. Mr. Fountain stated that if be ii 180 degrees out of 9base it is the City's fault.
