The application of final cover will con, hence prior <br />to cessation of landfill activity and be completed 30 days following <br />cessation of landfill activities. There are $ main topsoil stockpiles <br />on-site, S.1 thru 5.S ms designated on mttached drawing, with an <br />estimated quantity of 73,4D0 cubic yards. This topsoil was removed <br />during landfilling operations for future use. lhe remaining <br />uncompleted areas of the site, 43 acres, will require 35,ODD cubic <br />yards of topsoil. Sufficient on-site cover soils and topsoil is <br />available on-site or on adjacent properties owned by Waste Management <br />of ~innesota, Inc. for closure and post-closure needs. <br /> <br /> Final cover shall be as defined in Section I, Subsection 25 of the <br />County of Anoka's Solid Waste Ordinance Nos. 73-1, 82-1, 83-2 and 83-3. <br />Soils analysis data will be submitted to the Department for approval <br />before application of the final cover. <br /> <br /> After the covering activity has been completed, the Oepartment <br /> shall be notified and allowed access to the site in Order to inspect <br /> the final cover. <br /> <br /> The placement of final cover may be delayed beyond the above time <br /> limits, in the event of adverse weather conditions, provided that short <br /> ter~ erosion control measure are implemented and that the work delay is <br /> <br /> approved by the Department. <br /> 5. Vegetation <br /> <br /> As areas are completed during the remaining active life of the <br /> site, vegetation will be established on final covered fill areas. This <br /> will substantially reduce the acreage that will require turf <br /> establishment during the closure period. Within sixty (60) days after <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
