,I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I i I I I the site has ceased to accept wastes and following Department approval of the final cover, the finished surface shall be seeded, mulched, and fertilized tn accordance with the County of Anoka's Solid Waste Ordinance, this plan, and license conditions. Areas previously covered and seeded shall be re-inspected at this time for adequacy of turf cover. Those areas lacking adequate vegetation will be seeded and procedures taken (fertilization, mulching, etc.) to ensure adequate establishment of turf. In the event of adverse weather conditions and upon approval of the Department, the sixty (60) Uay requirements for completion of turf establishment may be extended. Prior to the placement of topsoil, an evaluation of its nutrient needs will be assessed through a soils analysis of the on-site stockpiles. Nutrients will be added in accordance with these tests to ensure proper germination and growth for turf establishment. During certain times of the year, based on weather conditions, it may be necessary to irrigate newly seeded areas. This will be accomplished on an as needed basis. In general, fibrous, shallow, laterally growing roots should characterize the vegetation types that will comprise the final turf material. The Minnesota Department of Transportion's seed mixture No. 5 will be used in turf establishment.
