Garnett <br />St. N.W., Ramsay, Minnesota, four (4) times a year. <br /> <br /> All sampling and testing during the closure and post closure <br />period will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in <br />the Policy and Procedures for Landfill Water Monitoring for Anoka <br />County. The results of the groundwater quality tests will be submitted <br />to the County and the MPCA. <br /> <br /> 4. Methane Gas Monitorin9 Pro~ram <br /> <br /> The Anoka Sanitary Landfill site presently has a system of methane <br /> monitoring probes and an active system for removing and flaring off <br /> excess landfill gas. During the closure and post-closure period, these <br /> systems will continue to be used. <br /> <br /> The methane gas monitoring probes will be tested on a bi-weekly <br /> basis. These probes are located along the west and north property <br /> lines. The gas testing data will be submitted to the Department with <br /> the semi-annual inspection report. If the Department feels that the <br /> results of the monitoring reflect the necessity for more frequent <br /> monitoring, then changes will be made in the program. <br /> <br /> The active methane collection system will be operated during the <br /> post closure period. At the end of the five (5) year period, the <br /> results of monitoring of the gas migration control system will be <br /> <br /> reviewed and the need for further gas control will be evaluated. <br /> 5. Reportin9 <br /> <br /> A report describing the inspection, conditions, corrective <br /> actions, maintenance activities, and monitoring activities performed in <br /> <br /> <br />
