A~PENDING OF SP~4INAI~q AND.. CDNFERENCEq: Inasmuch as we have two new members on the City Council, we are requesting a confirmation on the present policy of allowing Staff to attend seminars. ~he present policy is that the City Administrator approves of Staff attendance at seminars that he feels directly benefit the City 100%. If the Administrator were uncomfortable with making a particular decision, then there would be the prerogative of taking it to the Personnel Committee. ~here has not, however, been a problem in making that decision and it is not expected to occur in the future.
