Inasmuch as <br />all our projects are line item bids with qnly estimated quantities, <br />we did not feel a change order was necessary. The unit prices did <br />~ot change. <br /> <br />However, to satisfy the auditors, this change order is necessary. In <br />the future, we will submit change orders for any projects that exceed <br />the estimate. They are not necessary if the project is under <br />estimate. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-1) contains the proposed change order and t~esolution. <br />The contractor has been paid based on the change order. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Further discussion: <br /> <br />Motion carried/failed. <br />Voting no <br /> <br />Your action will be to adopt a resolution ~egarding this. The purpose of this <br />committee is to identify the transportation needs and resources of <br />the population County wide. If you have any suggestions for <br />improving/expandin~ trahsportation available in the County, they <br />should be forwarded to this Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
