I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />Mr. Miller stated that it varies fr~m season to season but on the average is <br />is anywhere fr~m ll0 to 280 ocmm~rcia] trucks per <br /> <br />Mr. Fomtain inquired if the figures g~oted by Mr. Miller represent the number <br />of individual trucks utilizing the landfill per day or the number of <br />entr les. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller stated that the figures represent the nunber of commercial entries <br />to the landfill. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca asked Mr. Miller what the setback for the mining area would be. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Miller relied that there would be a 100' setback. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca noted that many of the items included as enclosures in tonight's <br />Landfill agenda have pertinent information cut off by the City's copying <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca inquired as to the (Dst differenoe between mining cover material <br />frc~ adjoining property versus having oover material hauled in. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller stated that the oost of hauling in cover material would be <br />astronomical. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca requested that Mr. Miller provide this Landfill Committee with cost <br />figures regarding mining oover material fr~m adjoining property versus hauling <br />it in and Mr. Miller agreed to do so. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca referred to Enclosure 2.T in tonight's Landfill Ager~a, Oouncil <br />Minutes dated January 22, 1985, Page 21, in which Mr. Schnelle made the <br />oomment that the Oounty and State have indicated that the moratoriL~ would be <br />lifted for m~ning purposes. Mr. DeLuca inquired as to why this Landfill <br />Gcmm~ttee hasn't been informed of the Oounty and State's indication to lift <br />the mot ator it~. <br /> <br />Ct~ai~ LeLeux asked ConcUr Cox for his oogm~nts regarding Mr. <br />DeLuca' s inquiry. <br /> <br />Comcilmmber Cox stated that he Rs been informed that 'Citizen Input' is <br />past. Councilmember (Dx stated that he would say that Mr. Schnelle's ~ts <br />at that January 22 Council meeting were not totally factual. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca stated that he would like to either see docmentation supporting <br />Mr. Schnelle's c~mments or confirmation fr~m Mr. Schnelle that the o0mment is <br />not factual. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca referred to Enclosure 2.V of tonight's Landfill agenda, Council <br />minutes dated February 12, 1985, Page 2, first paragral~h, last line - 'Also <br />received a letter frc~ Karen Schaffer whic~ indicates that M~tro Council does <br />not have any objection to issuanoe of a corx:litional use permit.'.
