I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
!
I
I
!
I
I
I
!
I

neighbors, it is sometimes easier to bite your tongue and be
quiet. However, without your involvement and help, reasonable
solutions cannot be achieved.

5) Snowmobiles, Three-Wheelers, Dirt Bikes, etc.:
These types of vehicles when used properly are fine recreational
vehicles, hk~ever, their use becomes a problem to the City when
residents violate their neighbors' rights (trespassing, noise,
etc.) If residents police themselves, the City can avoid
adopting laws which are costly to enforce.

The City currently utilizes the Anoka County Union which is
published weekly as its official newspaper. The Union contains
all legal notices including public hearings, meeting notices,
etc. ~he City newsletter, published bi-monthly, is the Tri-City
Newsletter. We still seem to have problems reaching all
residents on issues and happenings in the City. We have one
other vehicle available to the residents and that is Cable T.V.
We can use the government channel to air City Council and
commission meetings. The City would have no cosf in providing
this service, but residents would have to pay any household
installation and subscription costs. Accordingly, I would like
to have your comments on the City providing this service.

I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity that you, the residents of
Ramsey, are giving me to serve as your mayor. I can assure you
that I will oontinue to work hard on your behalf. I am also sure
that you will not always agree with my decisions. However, I
will be acting in what I believe to be the best interests of the
entire City. I recognize that my decisions will be considered
good by some and bad by others. As is usually the case with
subjective decisions, it depends on whose ox is gored.

-5-
