The property is approximately 8.5 acres and <br />is located in an RB-la, Rural Business District. Mr. Christiar~ is <br />proposing to split the parcel into two lots. Lot I contains 3.8 <br />acres and Lot 2 contair~s 4.'/ acres. Mr. Christian has obtained a <br />permit from the Minnesota Department of Transportation for one access <br />fro~ West Highway #10 to serve both lots. The temporary structure ~ill be <br />approximately 250 square feet and ~ill house a manager and one <br />support staff person. Great Plains Gas is proposing to construct a <br />permanent office and appliance showroom during the summer of 1986. <br />The Planning and Zoning Co,mission conducted a public hearing on this <br />request on July 2, 1985.
