Assessment <br /> <br />In discussions with the City Engineer regarding special assessments, <br />we have determined that it shall be necessary to schedule public <br />hearings for September 17, 1985 and October 8, 1985. River's Bend, <br />Oxbow Addition and the sealcoating projects will be held on Beptember <br />17, 1985 and Flintwood Hills Second Addition and Ramsey Terrace will <br />be held on October 8, 1985. No action is required at this ti~e; this <br />item is only informational. <br /> <br />The necessary resolutions to establish the hearings ~ill be available <br />on August 27, 1985 for your adoption. <br /> <br />Item D: Central Park Li§htinq Study: '~ ~5 ' <br /> <br />This item ~as tabled at the last ~eeting, as the City Engineer ~as <br />not present. The study was done by R.C. Consultants of Anoka and the <br />estimated cost is somewhere between $75,000 and $105,000, depending <br />upon the equipment to be used. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-u) contains the City Engineer's letter dated June 18, <br />1985, the lighting study fro~ R.C. Consultants and a proposed <br />resolution ordering the preparation of plans and specifications if <br />the Council desires to proceed ~ith this project. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Your action will be to approve/disapprove th~ proposed improvement <br />and adopt a resolution authorizing the preparation of plans and <br />specifications. Unanimous consensus of the Council is required to <br />dispense ~ith the reading of the proposed resolution.
