Voting yes: Voting no: Request for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Larger than Allowed by City Code and ~o Locate it in the Front Yard: Case of Mr. Boy Newo~rb: I I I I I I I Mr. Roy Newcomb is requesting a variance to construct an accessory structure larger than allcwed by City Code and to locate it in his front yard. Mr. Newo0~b is proposing to oonstruct a 780 square foot accessory structure. ~he current ordinance allows a ~aximum of 624 square feet. Mr. Newcomb's proposal would be consistent with the proposed amendment to the oode which would allow a maximum area for the total of any garage and accessory structure to 1,664 square feet. Mr. Newcomb is also requesting a variance to locate the accessory structure in his front yard. Mr. Newco~b has stated that the variance is necessary due to the topography of the lot, proximity of the river and location of the house on the lot.
