P~ z-4- <br /> 8/7/78 <br /> <br />to brinf~ the strret to a level of service as recommended by the City <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />Motion by Mort West, seconded by Art B~mn to recommend to the City Council <br />to accept Magnesium Street as a City Street with the condition that it <br />be brought uo to City standards as determined by City Engineer, and that <br />a variance be granted· to Norman Nolm to allow a street-in lenght~of more <br />than 600 feet with a temporary turnaround. Motion carried 6-0. <br />Item 6. Don Greenberg- Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Greenberg was present with the sketch plan for the industrial park <br />(Gateway North), and a request to be allowed to have class 5 roads until <br />sewer and water ~vailable. Mr. Greenberg was informed.that the Council <br />has determimed the timetable on paved roads for the plat Ramsey 67. Mr. <br />Greemberg explained that Mate Punch & Die and Be Be, Inc.-had already <br />asked to purchase adjacent lot and outlot, and that a party wanted to <br />be able to build on Lot 2, Blk 2 before ~dnter. (Uniform Manufacturing <br />business presently being conducted in home in Ramsey). Mr. Greenberg <br />will try to have necessary information for Public Hearing in Septe~uber, <br />and there was discussion of having final prepared at same time for'~re- <br />semtation to Council at same meeting. Mr. Greenberg was informed that <br />he would probably have to construct roads before any permits would be <br />allowed. As it was determined that Imdustrial Blvd. roadway was given <br />in lieu of Park land, this plat should not have to be reviewed by P & <br />but that t~ey should be notified of this. <br /> <br />Item 7. Misc. <br /> <br />Kathy Schneider asked A1 Sorteberg if he had read the minutes from P & R <br />and if he was in agreement with their decision regarding Park dedication. <br />Art Dunn stated that he felt they did not fully understand the problem as <br />it pertains to Ramsey. It was the comsensus of the Commission to invite <br />P & R to the September 5th meeting. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Motion by A1 Sorteberg, seconded by Gerry Zimmerman to approve the minutes <br />of July 10th as read. Motion carried 5-0. Ron West abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Ron West, seconded by Art D~nn to approve the minutes of July 31, <br />1978 as read. Motion carried 4-0. Gerry Zimmerman and Kathy Schneider <br />abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Art Dunn, seconded by A1 Sorteberg to adjourn.
