ORDINANCE NO. 04- <br /> <br />CITY OF RANISEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SALARY INCREASE <br /> FOR THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> <br />This ordinance amends Section 2.01.09 of the City Code entitled "Salaries" by increasing <br />the salaries of the mayor and council members. <br /> <br />SECTION-1. A-UTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under_ the attthority of the Horne Rule Charter <br />of the City of Ramsey, Section 2.7 and Mi~mesota Statutes 415.11. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. PURPOSE <br /> <br /> It is the purpose of this Ordinance to attthorize a salary increase for the mayor and <br />city council members. The last such salary increase occmred in 1989. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. A~MENDMENT <br /> <br /> Section 2.01.09 of the City Code is amended to provide as follows: <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Mayor. The salary of the Mayor of the City of Ramsey shall <br />be $ per month ($ per year). <br /> <br /> Subd 2. City Council. The salary of each Council member of the City of <br />Ramsey shall be $ per month ($__ per year). <br /> <br />SECTION 4.
