Mr. Schnelle checked with the City Attorney~ <br />and there ]s nothing the City can do about this matter. <br /> <br />T~erra Estates, Inc. - Proposed sketch plan: Along Armstrong between 161st g 167th <br />A proposed sketch plan was presented showing 200 acres with 49 2,5 acre minimum <br />lots and 31 acres of park dedication along both sides of trott brook, and using <br />exisling ponds for drainage areas with drainage easements on all water ways. <br /> <br />Ken Peterson explain]ed that when talking with the Park Commission, they were <br />concerned with access to the park land, and suggested that the preliminary <br />indicate an area suitable for parking off of-the actual roadway, <br /> <br />Ron West pointed out that this park land is part of the City's greenbelt area- <br />and overall trail system of the future, and also questioned whether the <br />Highway Dept. had been contacted yet since ~83 has several blind spots which <br />will have to be considered. Discussion of responsibility for up.grading 161st <br />was briefly discussed. <br /> <br />Art Dunn stated that when the developers were figuring adequate area for <br />sewers, slopes must be taken into consideration. <br /> <br />The concensus of the Commission was for the developer to proceed with the <br />preliminary for the March meeting. <br /> <br />~2~a3~ ~ooyen- Sketch Plan: <br />Mr. Looyen was present with a sketch plan for the corner of 167th & ~5 <br />and explained how he has already paid one park fee when he built his home, <br />Mr. Clifton L. Morse was present and Stated that he did not have any plans <br />for the adjacent property which he ovrns. (in the near fut4~e) <br /> <br />A1 Sorteberg stated that he would like to see soil borings since he is pretty <br />sure there is an area if clay on the property, <br /> <br />Ron West suggested Mr. Looyen obtain soils testing before going to any more <br />expense with a preliminary , <br /> <br /> <br />
