It shallI unlawful within the limits o( )he City of <br />Ramsey for any person to park any mobile home on any street, alley or <br />highway, or other public place, or on any tract of land owned by any <br />person, occupied or unoccupied, within the City of Ramsey, except as <br />provided in this chapter. <br /> <br /> 2. .Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted <br />on any street, alley, or highway for not longer than three (3) hours <br />subject to any other and further prohibitions, regulations, or limit- <br />ations imposed by the traffic and parking regulations or code for <br />street, alley, or highway. <br /> <br /> 3. No person shall park or occupy any mobile home on the <br />premises bf ~ny occupied dwelling or any lot which is not a part of <br />the premises of any occupied dwelling, either of which is situated <br />outside of an approved mobile home park; except, the parking of only <br />one travel trailer of less than 500 square feet in floor area is <br />permitted, providing no living quarters shall be maintained or any <br />businesses practiced in said travel trailer while such. travel trailer <br />is so parked or stored. <br /> <br /> ~. One house trailer or mobile home may be placed upon any <br />tract of land by the owner of said tract and be used for temporary <br />dwelling purposes for a period not in excess of 90 days, upon obtain- <br />ing from the city council a permit theCefor. Applications for such <br />shall be made in writing to the building i~spector, and it shall be <br />his duty to submit such application to the city council at the next <br />regular meeting thereof. The city council may in its discretion gr,ant~ <br />or deny such permit and may require as a condition.to the granting pf <br />said permit or any renewal permit that the applicant appear in person <br />before the council and be examined as to his plans for a permanent <br />dwelling and other matters relative thereto. In no event shall a <br /> <br />permit be issued unless a building permit for a permanent structure <br />has been acquired for a home to be located on the subject premises, <br />and construction on the permanent structure must commence within <br />thirty (30) day{ from the date of issuance of the temporary mobile <br />home permit. <br /> <br /> 5. At the time of issuance of the temporary mobile home <br />permit, a certified check or surety bond in the amount of Three Hundred <br />and O0/100ths Dollars ($300.00) payable to the city shall be~required. <br />Failure on the part of the owner to remove the mobile home within the <br />specified time shall result in the forfeiture of the escrow deposit or <br />bond .... <br /> <br /> <br />
