WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council held a public hearing <br />on June 25, 1979, in regard to the'propOsed' rezOning and received <br />no negative response to the rez0ning concept as presented, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property is located in the Mississippi Critical <br />Rivers Area, City of Ramsey, Minnesota. The Environmental Quality <br />Board has reviewed the proposal and their findings are shown as <br />follows: Enclosure No. 1, letter from Arthur Sidner, Environmental <br />Quality Board dated July 30, 1979. Enclosure No. 2, letter from the <br />EQB review of Critical Areas dated 7/19/79. Enclosure No. 3, <br />C. Aichinger, .EQB letter dated 8/2/79. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed zoning change from' Industrial to <br />Business along Highway 10 is deemed to .be a melioration of the use <br />of the land and will not adversely affect the values or character <br />of other properties in the general area, and further, because of the <br />adjoining existing residential zoning of Alpaca Estates 'to the south, <br />it is deemed reasonable that the Bi-Zoning District would be as much or <br />more compatible to said residential area, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed zoning change from Industrial to <br />Residential will increase the values of other properties in the area <br />the change from Industrial to Residential will increase the asthetic <br />value and enhance the orderly development of the property owned by Alpaca <br />Estates, and therefore <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, that based upon the above Findings of Fact <br />concerning the proposed rezoning by Alpaca Estates, the City Council, <br />City of Ramsey, hereby adopts to incorporate the .zoning change of <br />the property referred to as Alpaca Estates in this Finding of Fact. <br /> <br />Adopted this 27th day of August 1979. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administra'to~ <br /> <br />~ayor <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
