Staff recommends 'site <br />plan approval contingent upon compliance withCity Staff review letter dated July 30, 2004. <br /> <br />Jeff Wise, applicant, indicated the two concernS of he and his partner are the request for putting <br />windows on the south side and including stone,On the south side. He inquired if this stone would <br />be required on.. the entire south side of the.b!afl'ding. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon explained staff was thinking of wrapping <br />the stone around the building 20 to 30 feet. <br /> <br />Mr. Wise commented they were not required to have windows on the south side of the building <br />previously. Adding the windows will cause a couple of problems, mainly with security. This <br />would require them to put windows in their display area. Also, With the Oasis gas station and <br />video store only being 18 feet away the windows would look at a blank wall. The addition is set <br />back 16 feet and he does not think anyone could see the windows. He contacted the owner of the <br />building to their south about transplanting the tree they currently have on. the side to put it on his <br />property, and he will be adding additional screening.
