The accessibility without hazard which would <br />be created by this new route to other areas within the school <br />district in addition to the high school could very well provide <br />a basis for eliminating the need for future elementary school <br />development within the City of Ramsey, at least for a longer <br />period than would otherwise be required from safety consider- <br /> <br />ations. <br /> <br /> Utilities in the Study Area: <br /> <br /> Electric power is provided <br />by the Anoka Electric Cooperative. Natural gas is distributed <br />by North Central Public Service Company. Telephone service is <br />provided by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. Municipal <br />water and sewer are not available at this time. The relation- <br />ship of this study area to the proposed metropolitan interceptor <br />connections to the City will be discussed in detail in a later <br />section and in the Appendix to this report. <br /> <br /> Community Facilities In and Serving the Study Area: The <br /> <br />current City offices are in what was formerly the Town Hall and <br />prior to that was a one-room school building located in the <br />southeast section of the study area on MTH #47 between Industry <br /> <br />- 18 - <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
