Regu] ar Council Page 4 November 13, 1978 A question was brought up on the location of Highway #47 and County Road #57 as to the financing of Mr. Keith Cable. It was stated that before Mr. Cable had wanted to develop the whole parcel and couldn't get financing on the entire piece and ,now it will be a little at a time. It was also felt that the ingress and egress would be a major factor on Industry Blvd. The locations on Highway #10 (McGregor and Gilbertson) would draw from the Anoka area, although access could be a problem. Council feels this could be something Planning and Zoning could be working on and may want to form a study committee. Councilman Ga]nec feels that in the past promises were made by Mrs. McGregor on an on-sale liqUor application and she did not keep it. Councilman Mickelson felt that McGregor could go either way that in the past she had trouble financing her proposed addition.~ Councilman Muller,-felt~that.the~McGregor_location~would-bebfurthe~from ~ Leininger~Martinson. Councilman Gamec feels thataccess from Highway #10:had-been givencon-- siderationby Gilbertson., Councilman Reimann stated that Gilbertson's location would be too close to Martinson-Leininger and the highway in that area could become congested and cause great traffic problems. Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Mickelson, Council- man Reimann, Councilman Muller and Mayor Cox, Voting no None, Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded byMayor Cox to award an off-sale liquor license to Mr. Jim Gilbertson for his location on Highway #10. Councilman Muller feels that the McGregor location would be out further from the municipal store of Anoka's and the Leininger-Martinson lodation on #47 and County Road #57 and that McGregor's being located next to DeZiel's one could go along with the other. Councilman Gamec stated it is questionable either way. He felt the intent of Gilbertson is better. Councilman Reimann feels that by McGregor's the traffic would be safer and less congested than at Gilbertson's location being there is the curve in the highway.
