Chairman Muller stated the City was very con-
cerned about the proper planning of Highway #10 in the future and they
wanted to know what the Minnesota State Transportation Department future
planning plans were for State Highway #10. Mr. Green stated their
immediate future plans were the signalization at the following inter-
sections of County Roads #57 and #56. However,' he stated bit lettings
for the above mentioned intersections would not be until February 1981
due to its priority in regards to other demands within the District.
He did state the City should adopt resolutions requesting the above
signalization.

In the long range planning of Highway #10, Mr. Green and Mr. Katz~
Minnesota Transportation Department, stated that Highway #10 is going
o be the only major highway serving this area. They also stated that
in the future cross overs would be restricted to every half mile or
mile (preferably every mile). They also intimated that present cross
overs where they created a safety hazard and did not fall within the
above perameters might be closed except those'cross overs where it was
provided in the property deed.
