P62 <br /> <br />Colmnunity Development Director Frolik stated that on June 22, 2004, the City Council <br />introduced an ordinance to rezone property fi'om E-2 Employment'to Planned Unit Development. <br />That ordinance is now ready for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Ordinance <br />#04-29 rezoning the subject property to Planned Unit Development (PUD), based on findings of <br />fact. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed: <br /> <br />Councihnember Cook aye <br />Councihnember Elvig aye <br />Councilmember Kurak (absent) <br />Councilmember Pearson aye <br />Councilmember Strommen aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #15: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Establish Board of Appeals and Adjustments/Official <br />Maps <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated the adoption of the ordinance establishing the Official Map <br />requires the establishment of a separate Board of Appeals and Adjustments/Official Maps. The <br />ordinance which established the 'Board of Appeals by amendment of Chapter 2 of the City Code <br />which is titled "Council, Boards and Cormnissions" was introduced on June 22, 2004, and is now <br />being presented for formal adoption. Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilrnember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Ordinance No. <br />30 to amend Chapter 2 of the City Code by adding a Board of Appeals and Adjustments/Official <br />Maps. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated the deadline for applications for the Board of Appeals is July <br />and an update will be provided in August with respect to those applications. <br /> <br />Motion canSed.' Absent: Councilmember Kurak. <br /> <br />Case #i6: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Vacate Easement in Rivenwick Village; Case of Turtle <br />Moon, Inc. <br /> <br />Communits~ Development Director Frolik stated that the City Council recently granted final plat <br />approval to Rivenwick Village, a replat of Outlot A of Rivenwick 3''d Addition, into mixed use <br />planned unit development consisting of 140 dwelling units in the southeast quadrant of Highway <br /> <br />City Council/July 13, 2004 <br />Page 22 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
