Page 2 ~m~
PRELIMINA~PLAT - ED ~J~MISH

P & Z Public Hear'Lng
June 4~ 1979

Mr. Terry Pederson said he feels that this is an extremely dangerous situation
when there is only .one way into the plat.

He said if the road were to be blocked for some reason that therewould be no other
way for an emergency vehicle to get in. He asked how long it would be before any
houses would be built.

Mr. Cains; replied that Mr. Flemish would have to answer that question when
he arrived.

Mr. Richard Warner said that he heard that Keillor's land (which is situated
between the plat and Hwy. 47) is for sale so why didn't he start from the road
and work in, that would be better planning.

Chmirnmn Ken Peterson said he did not know why }~r. Klemish didn't buy the land,
he said the P & Z Conmission is concerned about what will be going in on
the east and west of the plat, however, for the sake of this public hearing,
Mr. Klemish's Plat is what they are dealing with tonight.

Bob Brown aksed what type of homes were going to be built.

Mr. Caine said he could not answer that question.

Duane Newstrom, Yttrium & 170th Lane N.W., expressed concern about the'
additional traffic that would be generated due to the plat. He said it would
be like living on a cloverleaf of a freeway. He felt there would be a 'lot of
construction type trucks also passing through the area creating additional.
traffic and dust and it is unlive~ble now. They have a lot of traffic and
dust already.

Mr. Flemish arrived at the meeting.

Chairman Ken Peterson asked Mr. Kl~n~ sh what type of homes would be built in
his addition.

Mr. Flemish said that whoever buys the lot will determine what kind of homm is
built, he doesn't plan on building any of them.. He supposed that they would
be similar to the homms back there now.

Mr. Pederson asked if they would be building one house at a'~time.

Mr. Flemish replied that he is just developing the plat with lot size lots and
selling them. and could 'not say if~ they would built one at a time or not, it
would depend on how fast the lots sold, they could all be sold this year.

Chairman Peterson stated that Mr.. Klemish will be responsible for putting in
paved roads.

Mr. Pederson asked Mr. Kl~ih since there is no access to the property why
did he buy the very middle and not any of the other land.

Mr. Flemish said that the other land w~sn't for sale or he would have bought it.
