3. Conditional Use Permit Request - William Aydt

Bill Aydt, 14966 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., has received UMB zoning from the
City Council for his entire parcel located at 14966 Nowthen where Mr.
Aydt has his auto body business that was in operation before the zoning
became effective. It is necessary for Mr. Aydt to obtain a conditional use
permit to operate a non-conforming.use in this area. Some type of contract
should be requred that will run with the property with some conditions
attached that if it is resold, the purchasers can retain the same non-
conforming use operation but so that it isn't detrimental to the area.

Mr. Aydt runs a very good operation and there have been no complaints,
but if this business is ever sold, there is no guarantee that the next
party will operate in as desireable of fashion as Bill and that is what
the City must provide for some protection .against to avoid any future
potential problems.

Bill said he is not going to proceed with any platting and is not intending
to sell any of his land at this time.

ENCLOSURE - 9/10/79 COUNCIL MINUTES REGARDING REZONING

4.
