blot:ion by Co~mcil,~an Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to send a letter to <br />CommSss:ioner Ed Fields to encourage Anoka County to upgrade County Road 83 <br />especially since there are two new plats, Oakridge and Sorteberg AdditSons <br />wbSch will be adding additional traffic to this road. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gmnec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />It was noted that at previous public hearings on MSA roads that the County <br />indicated that they were going to purchase additional right of way for Ramsey <br />Bou]ew~rd to u~gra& that road and a reminder of this should be included in the <br />letter to Mr. Fields. <br /> <br />BI IJ.S FOR APPROVAL <br /> <br />~>tSon by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve the Bills <br />for the month of November 1978 for a total disbursement of $168,402.74 <br />and MSA funds of $33,431.56 are to be paid in January 1980 when the funds <br />5re avaSlable. <br /> <br />Mot:ion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Mayor G~mec reported on a meeting that was held for residents along Highway <br />l0 to review the sewer extension in that area and to let them know what and <br />when to ex3,ect regarding that issue. <br /> <br />~g]e CSty of Ramsey's concern at this time is that the Anoka Sewage Treatment Plant <br />be upgraded properly so that it will be able to eventually handle the Transition <br />Area. <br /> <br />~ere is to be a report in January and a hearing which should indicate exactly <br />when sewer will be available along Highway 10. <br /> <br />AI)JOURNMENT <br /> <br />MotSon by Councilman Reimann and secondedby Councilman Cox to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />5~tSon carried.
