Motion by Councilman Cox and Seconded by Councilman Sortebe~g directing <br />staff to renegotiate the contract regarding a rate increase, plus get <br />the monitoring done properly and direct the City Attorney to advise the <br />landfill operators that they are not abiding by the contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />b) County Ditch 43 - City Engineer Raatikka reviewed this item per his <br />April 22, 1980 engineer's report. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox andseconded by Councilman Sorteberg to move to <br />proceed with smaller pipe and that the developer is to provide the future <br />easements per the engineer's report of April 22, 1980. <br /> <br />c) Industrial Waste Flows - <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to supply an <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to Wehrman Chapman regarding the <br />Industrial Waste Flows, and that the City Engineer is to prepare this <br />amen&nent. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, ~iickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />d) Bison Street - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />keep Bison Street where it is presently located and travelled, and that <br />the pending lawsuit concerning this matter should be answered accordingly. <br /> <br />PLANNING AND ZONING CO~MISSION MINUTES OF APRIL 1, 1980 REGARDING PERSONNEL <br /> <br />The Council noted this information and took no formal action. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />REZONING REQUEST OF DR. BURN-ELL <br /> <br />Dr. Burnell was present to discuss his rezoning request with the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve <br />based on the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission and <br />direct staff to prepare the appropriate ordinance for formal adoption <br />at the May 13, 1980 meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
