Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Rum River Meadows Associates: <br /> <br />Refer to Paragraph 9 of this page. <br /> <br />Ca~e ~9: .Request For A Home Occupation Permit For A Beauty Shop; Case Of Mr. <br /> <br />And Mrs. Michael D~]tonson: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Cox to approve <br />of Mr. and Mrs. Antonson's request for a Home Occupation Permit provided <br />Mr. and Mrs. Antonson enter into a Conditional Use Permit Agreement with the <br />City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Cox, <br />Sorteberg and Reimann. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed the Antonson's that the portion of their home that is <br />used for the beauty shop will be taxed commercially. <br /> <br />Case #8: Rum River Meadows Associates: <br /> <br />Mr. Wilbur Dorn was present at the meeting. He stated that the subject <br />property is a parcel of about 90 acres lying at the northeast corner of <br />S.T.H. #47 and 167th Avenue NW which is in the City's Rural Service area <br />where densities are one per ten acres, which Metro Council mandated and <br />Ramsey approved reluctantly. The sketch plan was submitted for all 2% <br />acre lots and has been assessed assuming a density of 2~ acres. Mr. Dorn <br />stated that the long range goal for this parcel of land is a back 9-hole <br />golf course to Mr. Bulen's 9-hole.golf course. Mr. Dorn stated that he, <br />Mr. John Berglund and Dr. T. Anderson need a back-up plan if Mr. Bulen's <br />golf course doesn't become a reality. That back-up plan would involve <br />continuing with the 2% acre platting and approaching Metro Council. Mr. <br />Dom is requesting Ramsey's support. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />give Mr. Wilbur Dom Council consensus that Council will give his request <br />serious consideration provided he obtains Metro Council approval to <br />plat at 2% acres density. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner.
