I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA To Whom It May Concern: Notice is hereby given that the'Ramsey~Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on the'5th day of April, 1983 at 7:30'p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N-W, Eamsey, MN 55303. The purpose of this public hearing shall be to (1) consider adopting~the City's Zoning Chapter of the City Code relating to minimum building sizes and (2) repeal Ordinance #80-6 which relates to this subject. The pro- posed amendment is as follows: 170.014C Residential Structure Sizes Subd. 1 One Family Structures One family structures shall have at least three (3) habitable rooms, as defined by the State Building Code, and the'overall dimensions shall contain the following minimum areas including foyers and exclusive of. garages and be no less than 22 feet in any nominal dimension: Rambler without garage - 960 square feet on the main living floor Split level without garage -. 912 Square feet'on the main living floor Full two story with or without a garage exclUSive of lofts, balconies and any other similar construction which is not a full story -. 720 ' square feet per floor Rambler or split level with an attached or detached 440 square foot garage - 768 square feet on the main living floor Subd. 2 Two Dwelling Unit Structures Two dwelling unit structures shall have at least three (3~ habitable rooms, as defined by the State Building Code,. per unit and the overall dimensions shall contain not less than 720 square feet on the'main living floor per family including foyers and exclusive of garages~ All two unit structures shall have either an attached or detached garage and the overall dimensions shall contain not less than 240 square feet. Where a two dwelling unit structure is constructed with a'zero (0) lot line, the overall dimensions of the attached/ detached garages shall not contain less than 440 square feet. Subd. 3 Three or More Dwelling Unit Structures Three or more dwelling unit structures shall contain at least three (3} habitable rooms, as defined by the State Building Code, and the overall dimen- sions shall contain the following minimum floor areas, exclusive of garages, per 'unit: 1) 600 square feet for single floor units 2) 800 square feet for two story and multiple level units' Each unit of any three or more unit structures shall have an attached/detached garage with overall dimensions that contain no% less than 240 square feet.
