Accordingly, a <br />recommendation is in order at this time. <br /> <br />Commission Action: Your action in this matter will be to recommend <br />amending/approving/disapproving the proposed ordinance. The following <br />proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: <br /> <br />Motion by and seconded by to recommend <br />approval/disapproval of Ordinance #83- which is an environmental <br />protection ordinance dealing with critical rivers and wetlands. <br /> <br />Motion carried. B. 2 ZONING R]~ARDING PROPERTIES OF BILL AIq)~, I.~'S LANDSCAPING <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />AND BEN D~N~4ER: <br /> <br />The above three parcels have, both recently and in the past, received <br />a lot of discussion as to what the zoning is and what it was intended <br />to be. As has been previously noted, the City Council's original <br />intent was to allow only those uses that were existing in U. M. B. <br />2 zoning. However, both the zoning map and the City Ordinance showed <br />U. M. B. 2 zoning as acceptable for retail sales and only excluded <br />drive-in banks and eating establishments. While this may not have <br />been the intent, structures have been built and properties have changed <br />ownerships based on what the records at City Hall indicate. <br /> <br /> Page 1 of 4 i~ <br /> <br /> <br />
