Governor's Office of Volunteer Services <br />Volunteer Recognition Materials <br /> <br />Volunteer Recognition Packet. This Is the same <br />packet that was offered last year. It has been designed <br />to assist volunteer leaders with their volunteer <br />recognition events. It contains how-to tips, sample <br />public serv!ce announcements, news releases, etc. <br />Limited to one per agency. <br /> <br />"Volunteer for Minnesota" Lltterbag. This Iltterbag <br />can be distributed to volunteers at your recognition <br />event, or used as a handout to volunteer drivers. It is <br />approximately 9 x 12 inches In size. The colors are <br />blue and green printed on a white vinyl bag. The state- <br />ments "Volunteer for Minnesota'' and "1 Care Tool" are <br />featured predomlnately in the overall design. <br /> <br />Volunteer Recognition Certificate. The certificate Is <br />printed on a natural colored parchment paper. This <br />year's certificate is printed with a blue border with the' <br />wording in black. (A limited number of certificates with <br />the green border are still available.) The certificate Is <br />signed by Governor Quie. There are two blank spaces <br />which can be used for the signatures of local of- <br />ficlals/admlnlstrators/volunteer coordinators or for <br />the date. It has been designed to be adaptable for use <br />by most organizations for individual volunteer <br />rec0gnltlon. <br /> <br />· Volunteer Recognition Week Poster. This poster <br /> states that "Minnesota Volunteers are Great Peoplel" <br /> The dates for this year's Volunteer Recognition Week <br /> are also printed on It. It Is 11 x 17 Inches in size. The <br /> colors are blue and green on a heavy Ivory colored <br /> stock. This Issue of the G.O.V.S. Newsletter contains a <br /> copy of this Item. <br />· Volunteer Recognition Poster. This poster is Iden- <br /> tical to the Volunteer Recognition Week Poster, except <br /> that the dates for Volunteer Recognition Week are not <br /> included. It has been designed for year round use by <br /> volunteer programs. There is space for you to add <br /> your agency's name and the dates and times of your <br /> own recognition program. <br />· Volunteer Recognition Week Book Mark, This book <br /> mark ts a reduced version of the volunteer bumper <br /> sticker, except that on the reverse side the words <br /> "Volunteer Recognition Week, April 20-26, 1980" are <br /> printed. It is printed in blue and green on a heavy ivory <br /> stock. The size is approximately 2 x 8 lA inches. <br /> <br />· Volunteer Bumper Sticker. It contains the statement <br /> "Volunteers are Greatl" The design and the statement <br /> are printed in blue and green on a white vinyl sticker <br /> that Is approximately 4 x 15 inches in size. <br /> <br /> There is no charge fo~ the above items, however, the <br />quantities are limited.
