Jeep <br />Price quotes for City vehicle <br />Summons and Notice of Hearing Re: James and Joanne Harris <br />Planning Aid job description <br /> <br />CASE #1: <br /> <br />FINALIZING OF EDA GRANT REGARDING RAMSEYMLNICIPAL CENTER: <br /> <br />The EDA Office is questioning the following cost item of the <br />above grant. <br /> <br />Administrative cost $350.00 <br />Basic A/E fees 9,541.00 <br />Total $ 9,891.00 <br /> <br />In view of the audit that was performed in regards to the EDA <br />Grant, it is pointed out in the following attached documents <br />that the EDA Grant was for $595,058. However, the to~al project <br />costs of the Municipal Center was $596,266 (cost over run of <br />$1,208 and which doesn't bother EDA Office because they won't <br />pay it.) However, they do want the City to refund $8,683 for <br />A & E costs not authorized in the grant. <br /> <br />Background Information: The following information is hereby <br />submitted On t~his case: <br /> <br /> a. Phil Nereson- Phil will be present Tuesday night, 7:00 PM <br />April 22, 1980, to go over these grant cost areas which the Fed's <br />claim are not legitimate grant cost. <br /> <br /> b. Enclosure (D-2a) letter dated April 2, 1980, from Mr. <br />Edward G. Jeep, Reginal Director, EDA, requesting that the City <br />of Ramsey refund to their office $8,683. <br /> <br /> c. Council please refer to enclosure (C-3) and also (D-3 <br />case #4) paragraph (c) of Council agenda dated February 12, 1980. <br />You might want to bring this agenda to the meeting with you. <br /> <br />Council Action: Council action on this matter will be to indicate <br />to the Feds that we are questioning their regulations that state <br /> <br /> <br />
