09/22/16 REVISOR CKM/IL AR4240 <br />3.1 A. a slope that rises at least 25 feet above thc ordinary high water level or toc of <br />3.2 thc slope to the top of thc slope and the grade of the slope averages 18 percent or greater, <br />3.3 measured over a horizontal distance of 25 feet, as follows: <br />3.4 (1) where the slope begins above the ordinary high water level, from the <br />3.5 toe of the slope to the top of the slope; or <br />3.6 (2) where the slope begins below the ordinary high water level, from the <br />3.7 ordinary high water level or toc of thc slope to the top of the slope averages 18 perccnt or <br />3.8 greater, measured over a horizontal distance of 25 feet. See Figure 1; or <br />3.9 B. a natural escarpment or cliff with a slope that rises at least ten feet above the <br />3.10 ordinary high water level or toe of the slope, whichever is applicable, to the top of the <br />3.11 slope, with an average a slope of 100 perccnt 75 degrees or greater. <br />3.12 Subp. 9. Bluff impact zone. "Bluff impact zone" means the bluff and land within 20 <br />3.13 feet of the bluff.
