09/22/16 REVISOR CKM/IL AR4240 <br />37.1 adjoining or overlapping local governments, the Metropolitan Council, the commissioner, <br />37.2 the National Park Service, and property owners in the area directly affected by the <br />37.3 proposed district boundary amendments and must conduct a public hearing. <br />37.4 (3) Upon receiving a complete request for a district boundary amendment <br />37.5 as provided under subitem (1), the commissioner must consider the request and determine <br />37.6 whether to initiate rulemaking to amend the boundary according to Minnesota Statutes, <br />37.7 chapter 14. The commissioner must communicate the determination, in writing, to the <br />37.8 local government or state or regional agency requesting the district boundary amendment <br />37.9 within 60 days after receiving the request. <br />37.10 D. This subpart does not apply to the defined river corridor boundary. <br />37.11 6106.0110 USES. <br />37.12 Subpart 1. Underlying zoning. Uses permissible within the Mississippi River <br />37.13 Corridor Critical Area are generally determined by the local government's underlying <br />37.14 zoning, with additional provisions for certain uses as specified by this part. <br />37.15 Subp. 2. Agricultural use. Where agricultural use is allowed by the local <br />37.16 government, perennial ground cover is required within 50 feet of the ordinary high water <br />37.17 level and within the bluff impact zone. <br />37.18 Subp. 3. Feedlots. New animal feedlots and manure storage areas are prohibited. <br />37.19 Existing animal feedlots and manure storage areas must conform with chapter 7020. <br />37.20 Subp. 4. Forestry. Where forestry is allowed by the local government, tree harvesting <br />37.21 and biomass harvesting within woodlands, and associated reforestation, must be consistent <br />37.22 with recommended practices in Conserving Wooded Areas in Developing Communities: <br />37.23 Best Management Practices in Minnesota, incorporated by reference under part 6106.0090. <br />6106.0110 37 <br />
