Accordingly, <br />enclosure (DZ-e) contains said cost breakdown. <br /> <br /> RAMSEY LANDFILL: <br />/'~Background Information: Council minutes of April 22, 1980 <br /> 'dir'ect~d that the City meet with Waste Management of Mn, Inc <br /> in regards to rate structure and contract violation. Please <br /> refer to enclosures A-l, A-3, and A-4 which contains Council <br /> minutes on this case. The following is before Council for <br /> consideration. ~.'. ~,:. ~ <br /> <br /> a. AMENDING PRESENT RATE STRUC?URE IN CONTRACT: Mr. Otter <br /> stated he would notify the City prior to its regnlar Council <br /> meeting of May 13, 1980 on this matter on his companys position <br /> in amending the rate structure. <br /> <br />b. EXTENSION OF 'TWO ~'FakRS TO 'P~T ODNTRACT AND A NEW <br /> <br />CONTRACT ON THE REMAINING'80 'ACRES: <br /> Council stated o2 these two requests from Mr. Otter they <br />wanted to study them and get back. Council now will have to <br />decide if they want to agree to an extension of time and pro- <br />visions to be put in new contract. <br /> <br /> c. MISCELLANEOUS MATIERS AGREED.TO AT MAY 7TH, 1980 <br />MEETING: Waste Management agree8 to the following miscellaneous <br />items which Council should get down in letter form as an amend- <br />ment to present contract: <br /> <br /> 1).. Agreed to add another well site at their expense <br />which would be accomplished in 60 days. <br /> 2). Clean up lime sludge on properties bordering land <br />fill within five day. <br /> 3). Clean carpets in homes where children have tracked <br />into the house. <br /> 4). Construct a ditch barrier so lime runoff, e~c. <br />doesn't go on properties abutting landfill. <br />5). Reconstruct road to sliding area and maintain <br />sliding area. <br /> <br />RECEIVING PRICE QUOTES ON HIGHWAY REG~TORY SIGNS: <br /> <br />This was before Council at your last meeting of April 22, 1980 <br />in regards to the City having to assume approximately 24% of <br />the purchasing and installation costs as originally it was going <br />to be 100% Federal and State Grant funding. <br /> <br />Enclosure' (D2-f) contains price quotes on signs and manhour <br />costs to install them. <br /> <br /> <br />
