CASE #3: DELETING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ON STREET IMPROVEMENT; CASE OF BERTHA ~AE SMITH JOHNSON: Background Information: The following is hereby submitted on this case: a) Enclosure (D3-e) contains the following documents: 1) Council minutes dated Octobe~ 29, 1979 regarding the deleting of the special assessment on the street improvement. -. 2) Map showing the parcel of land to be deleted from the special assessment rolls. b) Enclosure (D3-d) contains the following documents: 1) Paid real estate tax statement in the amount of ~,~ $278.80 for special assessments for street improve- ment. ° e m ' 2) Copy of drainage aseent as requested by Council. Comments: Bertha Mae Smith Johnson has completely complied with the Council's request that she grant a drainage ease- ment on the lot shown on the map in enclosure (D3-d) to the City of Ramsey. Accordingly, the City of Ramsey would delete the entire special assessment on this lot. Council Action: Your action will be as follows if you approve of deleting the special assessment in the amount of $1,753.36. a) Authorize the City of Ramsey to reimburse Mrs. Smith Jotmson in the amount of $278.80 .for the first installment payment she made on them as evidenced by enclosure (D3-d). b ) Adopt resolution deleting the street improvement special assessments in the amount of $1,753.36 from the property described in the drainage easement which is contained in en- closure (D3-d). CASE #4: MOROZ OK HARDWARE IS REQUESTING APPROVAL FOR A SELF SERVICE GAS STATION (6013 - 167th Avenue N.W.): Enclosure (D3-e) contains Mr. Moroz request to locate a self service gas station at his hardware store (6013 - 167th Avenue k N.W. ) Mr. Moroz would like for Council to review his sketch plan and make their recommended changes.
