House of Representatives <br />323 Cannon Office Building <br />Washington, D.C. <br /> <br />RE: Letter of Appreciation for your work on General Revenue Sharing <br /> <br />Dear Representative Oberstar: <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey, has directed me to write and thank <br />you for the fine job you are doing in saving the General Revenue Sharing <br />Program. The City Council and the citizens of the City of Ramsey are most <br />appreciative of your effort in preserving this program. <br /> <br />The City Council wonders why the U.S. Congress does not set General Revenue <br />Sharing up as a model federal grant program whereby other government grants <br />would have to deliver the same efficiency as this program. If any of these <br />other programs failed to deliver the same efficiency in costs that they be <br />abolished.
