· Armstrong Boulevard (CSAH83): 7,063 <br /> <br />Average daily traffic volumes on TH10 between TH169 in Elk River and Ramsey <br />Boulevard totaled 28,850 vehicles per day based on 1998/2000 data included in <br />Mn/DOT's Interregional Corridor Study. Between .. Ramsey Boulevard and TH47 in <br />Anoka, average daily traffic volumes totaled 50,950. <br /> <br />Road users: <br /> <br />The primary users are commuters, commercial vehicles and local traffic during <br />weekdays, and recreational travelers on weekends. <br /> <br />Existing regulatory speed: <br /> <br />The regulatory speed on TH10 is 65 mph. <br /> <br />Horizontal/vertical alignment: <br /> <br />The alignment of the road is primarily flat and straight. <br /> <br />Land use: <br /> <br />The land immediately adjacent to TH10 is primarily zoned commercial. Recently the <br />City of Ramsey formally adopted an official map along a portion of TH10 on the north <br />side of the roadway between TH10 and the BNSF rail line - extending from the eastern <br />city limits with the City of Anoka to west of Armstrong Boulevard at approximately Puma <br />Street. Zoning within the officially mapped area has been rezoned as an H-1 Business <br />District and is more restrictive than the previous zoning to minimize future right-of-way <br />acquisition costs, <br /> <br />Railroad crossings: <br /> <br />The Burlington Northern Santa Fe rail line runs parallel to TH10 through the City of <br />Ramsey. There are currently at-grade signalized railroad crossings at each of the three <br />boulevards intersecting TH10. The distance between TH10 and the railroad crossings <br />on each boulevard are as folloWs: <br /> <br />· Sunfish Lake Boulevard (CR57): approximately 530 ft. north of TH10 <br />· Ramsey Boulevard (CR56): approximately 430 ft. north of TH10 <br />· Armstrong Boulevard (CSAH83): approximately 60 ft. north of TH10 <br /> <br />Bridge crossings: <br /> <br />There are currently no bridge crossings within this segment of TH10.
