• July 25th — Council accepts bids and awards contract <br />• August 7th — Begin construction <br />• August 25th — Complete construction <br />Notification: <br />No notifications are required for this case. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Observations: <br />Striping improvements on Sunwood Drive, east of Rhinestone Street and west of Zeolite Street, are proposed to be <br />completed as part of the 2017 Crackseal and Sealcoat Improvements project. This evening, Council will consider <br />awarding a contract for construction for the 2017 Crackseal and Sealcoat Improvements. This work is proposed to <br />be complete before September meaning all striping improvements on Sunwood Drive between Armstrong <br />Boulevard and Ramsey Boulevard will be complete before any Happy Days events begin. <br />Alternatives: <br />Alternative #1 — Motion to adopt Resolution #17-06-149 approving plans and specifications and authorizing <br />advertisements for bids for Improvement Project #17-04, Sunwood Drive Striping Improvements. <br />Alternative #2 — Motion to deny adoption of Resolution #17-06-149 at this time. <br />Funding Source: <br />The engineer's estimate for construction costs is $16,842.10.
