CASE # a REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT RELATING TO THE FINAL SITE PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 3RD ADDITION; CASE OF RAMDANCE, LLC By: Sylvia Frolik, Community Development Director Background: On October 12, 2004, the City Council granted final site plan approval to Ramdance, LLC for the development of 3 buildings on Lot 1 of Ramsey Town Center 3`d Addition. The proposed development permit was not available for review and approval at that time. Observations: As you may recall, Ramsey Town Center 3`d Addition is located in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Armstrong Blvd. N.W. and Sunwood Drive N.W. It is 9.5 acres in size and is proposed to subdivided into 2 lots.and 1 outlot. The first phase -of the development of Lot 1 includes a Coborn's grocery store and 2 additional retail buildings, referred to as Gateway and Corner. There are 2 more retail buildings eventually planned for Lot 1 and 1 retail building for Lot 2. The outlot will be developed as a landscape feature to serve as an entrance to the Town Center. City Staff has completed drafting the document and it was forwarded to Ramdance, LLC for review and comment. The proposed development permit was on the October 26, 2004, City Council agenda for approval. At the applicant's request, approval of the proposed development permit was tabled to allow sufficient review time. Since October 26, City Staff has had several conversations with Shingobee to finalize the contents of the draft development permit. Recommendation: City Staff recommends approval of the proposed Development Permit. Council Action: Motion by and seconded by to approve the proposed Development Contract relating to the final plat approval of Ramsey Town Center 3`d Addition. Review Checklist: Asst. Community Dev.
